We had such a wonderful time capturing Hailey & Devin’s engagement session at France Park! This location is one of our favorites because no matter the season, it offers such stunning backdrops—lush greenery, rocky cliffs, peaceful water, and winding trails. Pair that with a couple like Hailey and Devin, and you can’t help but feel thankful to do what we do.

It’s amazing how much can change in just one year! When we last saw Taylor and Zach, they were newlyweds celebrating their wedding day. Fast forward twelve months, and they’ve grown into a family of three with the sweetest little girl. What was originally planned as their complimentary anniversary session quickly turned into the most heartwarming family shoot, and we couldn’t have loved it more.

We loved catching up with Kylee and Jacob at Coxhall Gardens for their maternity session! These two have such a special place in our hearts because we’ve had the honor of capturing so many of their big milestones over the years. From their engagement session, to documenting their wedding day, and now celebrating the soon-to-be arrival of their baby girl—it feels like such a full-circle moment. Watching their love grow through each chapter has been such a joy, and this next season may just be the sweetest one yet.

Stephanie & Adam got married on a recent Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith, Indiana, before celebrating at their reception at The Barn & Vineyard in Beecher, Illinois. Their slightly rustic decor met with the elegance of a church wedding, featuring colors like dusty pink and navy, added a soft theme to their warm and rainy wedding. The day began with the bride and groom getting ready separately in the newly renovated suites at the reception venue. They then rode in a party bus to the ceremony location before Stephanie had the honor to walk down the aisle to her awaiting soon-to-be-husband. After a full Catholic Mass the festivities continued again back at The Barn & Vineyard, where the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, fun line dancing, and unforgettable moments shared with their closest family and friends.

There’s something extra special about photographing people you’ve known forever. I’ve known the Hettinger family since I was just a little girl, so when Taylor reached out about doing a photo session with her pups, I was already over the moon. As we talked through her vision, I couldn’t help but suggest, “Why not bring the whole family along and turn it into a family photo shoot, too?” I’m so glad she did. It was the perfect excuse to gather everyone together and freeze these sweet moments in time.

France Park is one of our favorite places to return to again and again because it never disappoints. No matter the season, this spot offers breathtaking backdrops that make every session shine. We know the area so well now that we can easily guide couples to the best locations, and every time we leave amazed at how stunning the photos turn out.

Lilly & Nick shared intimate vows and said “I do” on a recent Sunday at the gorgeous Morris Estate chapel in Niles, Michigan. Their elegant and vintage floral celebration, featuring a dainty palette of navy, blues, and wildflowers, brought a light and modest gracefulness to their warm summer wedding—perfectly complementing the simplicity of the crisp white chapel that they got married in on the estate. The day began with a private first look down the chapel aisle followed by an exchange of vows that was meaningful and well done by both Lilly & Nick. After their moments alone, the couple hid away waiting for guests to arrive before their classic ceremony with thoughtful religious elements. The festivities continued under the tent just outside the chapel, where the evening was filled with gracious toasts, smooth slow dancing, and unforgettable moments shared with their closest family and friends.

Sadie & Reed tied the knot at the stunning Culver Academies Memorial Chapel in Northern Indiana. Their timeless and heartfelt celebration, featuring a rich palette of berry, navy, and sage, brought a refined elegance to their warm summer wedding—perfectly complementing the grandeur of the historic military academy. The day began with a meaningful first look at Sadie’s family home, with Lake Maxinkuckee and their cherished boat creating the dreamiest backdrop. After exchanging private letters and vows, the couple made their way to the Chapel for a classic ceremony beneath breathtaking stained glass. The festivities continued at Damore Gardens, where the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, romantic dancing, and unforgettable moments shared with their closest family and friends.

We had such a fun evening capturing senior photos for Madyson Anderson, a soon-to-be graduate of the Class of 2026! Her session was full of personality and charm, starting at her family’s property where we did our best to include her beloved show pigs and pup. Madyson’s love for animals and her rural roots were the perfect backdrop for these sentimental shots. Afterward, we headed to Altherr Nature Park in Monticello just in time for golden hour. The soft evening light gave everything a warm, dreamy glow—especially in the fields and wildflowers.

The blended Marxmiller crew met us at Tippecanoe River State Park last week for a special extended family session while everyone was in town. With kids growing up, family members spread across different states, and life pulling us in so many directions, it’s such a gift when a family can all be together in one place. We love capturing these moments—laughs, hugs, and the kind of joy that only happens when you’re surrounded by your people.

Amber & Bradley got married at Gathering Place at The Old Mill in Twelve Mile, Indiana. Their simple wedding accented with sage green and khaki made this warm spring wedding feel laid back and well suited for this country venue. They both shared in special surprises like Amber’s first look with her dad, and Bradley’s tear-jerking gift from his mom as a tribute to his late father. Then Amber finally got to walk through the barn doors and down the aisle to her awaiting soon-to-be husband. Their ceremony took place at the same location as their reception so guests looked on as they sat at tables surrounding the bridal party where Amber & Bradley exchanged rings, and said “I do” before sealing the entire event with a kiss. We wrapped the night up with a fun-filled reception, sunset photos at their personal property with an old tractor and truck as props, and tons of dancing surrounded by their friends and family.

Shelby & Tucker are getting married! These two have been friends since childhood, and you could definitely tell that their connection was soul deep by the amount of laughs, teasing, and admiration they shared with one another during their time with us. I loved that we were able to add a personal element to their engagement session by traveling to their personal property to take photos with their cows. Everything about this evening with Shelby & Tucker just felt so authentically them!
