Hi, we’re the Langs! We've been collectively creating video and photo media of differing styles for over 5 years. The digital memories that we create have always been as a means to hold a moment in time--something you can review for years and years to come.

Your wedding photos will be the way in which you review and look back on your wedding for years to come. You’ll immediately share them online and with others, you’ll look through them again year after year, but most importantly you will have your wedding photos 50 years from now to reminisce about your wedding day, the ceremony, your first kiss, the first dance, and so much more.
Graduation—for some, it would be happening right around now. That moment they walk, shake hands, and receive their diploma. But sadly this isn’t happening. Everything is coming in the mail and celebrations are happening at home alone. However, when we get a chance to smile, celebrate the victory that is graduation, and maybe even pop some champagne we’re going to take it! We were so glad to get out and take some graduation images for Sara and her friends at Purdue University in Lafayette, IN.
While most of your wedding day is about documenting those unplanned moments or those ‘just married’ mushy bits, we realize that family photos are just as important. Having a planned family shot list on your wedding day is important for a few reasons. But mostly, it’s much easier to make thoughtful decisions about which photos you’d like when you aren’t in the middle wedding day chaos. You’ll go into the day knowing that the important shots are on the list.
With everything that is happening in the world—the coronavirus, the global shut downs, the enforcement of nonessential businesses to close, and so on—we have not been able to shoot some of our scheduled sessions, weddings, and other events that we were very much looking forward to. However, recent news from Indiana and our local government has granted that we can officially begin to take outdoor sessions as long as social distancing is practiced. I am so glad that we were able to kick off this exciting chapter with Katie and Andy’s engagement session!!
Unless you’re in the wedding industry too, or have had your fair share of moments as a bridesmaid, it can often seem very overwhelming when it comes to planning a wedding. Hair, make-up, flowers, pictures, video, music, catering, cakes, and the list goes on and on… what are you to do? There are all of these things to plan, but also a timeline to be made. Who shows up when? How much time do you need for this and that? If you don’t have the answers to these questions, don’t panic! We’re here to provide you with assistance and a baseline for where to begin.
Oh my gosh the sun is shining and it’s beautiful! Spring is here. You’re noticing the flowers, the warmth, the people going out and getting fresh air. It’s actually one of our favorite times of the year. If you’re looking for some spring inspiration, something fun to do together as a family, a way to document this current moment, then we’ve got you covered.
The First Look is an amazing part of the wedding day! It is when you and your soon-to-be spouse will get to see each other for the first time and you will get to have that moment captured in your portraits and video. It’s typically a private moment, away from guests and family, where you both can see each other for the first time. It’s different than the walk down the aisle, it’s a chance to see your lover, your best friend, your everything before the ceremony even begins.
A wedding at the beautiful St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Peru, Indiana followed by a bangin’ party bus to Kokomo, IN, and then wrapping the night with family and friends at the stunning hall of Bel Air Events—this was Megan & Tyler’s special day.
Chelsea and Christian became husband and wife at Taylor Chapel UMC in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was a very intimate affair as they broke bread and shared wine with all of their guests. Row by row their families and beloved friends came to the front of the church to accept communion from Chelsea and Christian. They had family members sing and read scriptures before they said their vows and left the sanctuary officially as Mr. and Mrs. Young.
Introducing the gorgeous, spunky, beautiful, and creative Faith Pratt. Faith reached out to me on Instagram about doing her Senior Portraits which is something I’ve only dabbled in, but I am so happy with the way that these turned out. We spent one wintry afternoon shooting at places around downtown Winamac and ended up down at the Winamac Town Park to finish it off.
Hey, it’s Danyell! This past weekend (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) I attended the In Focus Marketing Summit hosted by Jasmine Norris and Victoria Rayburn. The In Focus Marketing Summit is a photography workshop that focuses on marketing strategies to grow your business. Myself and six other photographers studied subjects like identifying and targeting our dream customers, developing and communicating our brand, creating content marketing strategies for blogs and social media, building client focused websites that inspire website visitors to take action, optimizing our websites for search engines, and more.
While I know that wedding photos are a must, there are certain things that photos just can’t capture the same way that videos can. The posed shots, beautiful still moments, and glimpses of emotion are perfectly captured by a good photographer. But your vows, the first dance, laughter and crying, the speeches given by the most important people to you; all of these things (and so much more) can’t be captured with photos.
The LVP Blog is where you get to know us, where you meet our LVP Brides and Families and see their beautiful videos and pictures, where we have been building an archive of resources for you to learn all there is to know about capturing your memories, and where we let you see a peek into our life, our why, our love story, and meet our family too.
We have helped numerous couples, families, new mothers, and more capture their story that they can cherish for a lifetime. We ensure you that we capture the memories of your special day with your legacy in mind. Our job is to contain the essence of what is you and bottle it into a video and photo gallery that can last a lifetime. The videos and photos that we create have always been as a means to hold a moment in time--something you can review for years and years to come.

"Danyell is absolutely amazing! Not only did we get a copy of all the pictures, but she also puts countless hours into making a video of each session which is honestly my favorite part! She takes her time to get to know you on a personal level, to me that makes the session go smooth!

We are super thrilled to have this office space where we can not only continue to capture pictures of families and little ones into the cold months, but also have a place to meet with potential couples who want to book with us for their upcoming wedding. Our studio is also where we work day in and day out getting everything edited and posted for all of you!
This studio is still a work in progress (and probably always will be), but we're tired of waiting --I just have to show you around! We actually showed a sneak peak to all of our email newsletter subscribers last month, and since then things have continued to change and develop. We will constantly be bettering our studio, but for now, it has become such a great place for photos and for meeting with clients.

Trevor and I are so excited to announce the birth of our second baby boy. Forrest Allen Lang was born on December 8, 2023. We were at the hospital for a routine non-stress test, which I had been doing for a few months because of my gestational diabetes. I knew we would most likely wind up staying in the hospital because I had been having consistent contractions for a few days leading up to this, so Trevor and I packed our bags just in case. As the contractions progressed, the doctor determined we couldn’t leave, and Mr. Forrest was born that evening via planned c-section.
