We had the pleasure of meeting up with The Dagenais Family again. Last time we met for a session was over a year ago and their little girl had just been born. This time we were able to get together for a warm summer session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, Indiana.

It was a gorgeous summer day with the most perfect weather in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Juliana & Lewis prepped at a personal residence with their closest friends and family for their big day. After getting dressed to the nines, sharing an intimate first look with Juliana and her father, they all headed off to St. Anthony’s Church for a Catholic ceremony combining their Spanish and Vietnamese cultures. Afterwards, they enjoyed an amazing reception at Rick’s Cafe Boatyard where they toasted to heart-felt speeches, delicious food and cake, all themed with elements from Game of Thrones. Finally finishing off the night with a wildly dance-filled reception and tons of laughter and joy with friends and both families—this was Juliana & Lewis’ special day.

Their 10 year vow renewal started with light showers as the team prepped everything at Stacks Bar & Grill in Valparaiso, Indiana while Miranda & Austin got ready for the day at their home. After ten amazing years of marriage, they decided to share an intimate vow renewal with all of their closest friends and family, followed by a celebratory dinner, and many touching speeches that brought tears to the eyes of most. They ended the night the best company, music, and a delicious cake—this was Miranda & Austin’s special day.

A summer wedding at their family’s property in Winamac, Indiana, where they individually got ready with their closest friends before they shared in their private first look moment followed by a butterfly release at their wedding ceremony for those who could not be with them that day, then ending the night at the Knights of Columbus with good food, tear-jerking speeches, the best company, and plenty of dancing—this was Stephanie & Dalton’s special day.

Welcome to the world Laina Rae Ditmire. She was born strong and healthy on June 29th, 2021, at 8:29pm weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 19 inches to an excited momma, Dominique, and proud dad, Brandon. They went in to be induced the evening before, but due to some unexpected complications they decided to go forward with an emergency c-section later the next day. Everything went as planned after that and Laina Rae was happy and healthy. Everyone is so grateful to have this surprise girl in the world now.

A warm summer wedding at their family church, Shiloh Christian Church, in Logansport, Indiana, where they gifted one another with hand written notes and a new bible before walked down the aisle to see each other for the first time surrounded by some of their closest friends and family, then ending the night at the Cass County Fairgrounds with good food, tear-jerking speeches, the best company, and plenty of dancing—this was Ashley & Austin’s special day.

After COVID cancellations and reschedules, these two were finally able to tie the knot as husband and wife on this beautiful sunny spring day in Kokomo, Indiana. Abby & Ryan shared a touching first look in a beautiful brick alley way downtown before spending the early afternoon with their closest friends and heading to their personal residence for a decorated ceremony in a mowed patch of field. After saying their vows they shared a kiss as husband and wife and headed to their reception site under a white tent in their backyard where they ended the night with cake and pie, dancing, and a confetti filled evening—this was Abby & Ryan’s special day.

Anne & Billy first reached out to me wanting to schedule a family session. After talking more with Anne, I quickly learned that what her and Billy needed was more of an intimate couple’s session for just the two of them. Anne told me, “we have been together for 15 years, married 12, [and] haven’t had our pictures taken professionally since we had gotten engaged.” They thought it was time they finally got pictures together again!

It started as an overcast spring morning and turned into the sunniest warm day with the most perfect weather at Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville, Indiana, where Megan & Chris prepped in their private rooms with their closest friends and family for their wedding day filled with a bright outdoor wedding, heartfelt speeches, the sweetest cheesecakes in this beautiful vineyard and finishing off the night with a blood pumping, dance-filled reception and sparkler send off—this was Megan & Chris’s special day.
