Judith & Diego have known each other since a young age because they grew up from nearby towns in Mexico. When they were both in High School, Diego became good friends with Judith’s brother. When he was around, Diego would try to talk to Judith but she didn’t think it was anything serious. He was persistent though and started to ask her out on dates. Judith told us, “Finally I went out with him in my senior year of high school. And after like 2 years of him trying to convince me, we started dating.” And now, they’re getting married!!

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. Some of our bundle and videography packages include an engagement video. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more, sit down and talk about their story, and learn about what brought them together. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in the form of photos and video.

He planned a Cancún proposal

Judith told us, “The proposal was planned all by himself.” They went on vacation to Cancún with close friends. A day before leaving the resort in Cancún, after they had dinner, Diego asked Judith to go take a few last pictures out in the resort. He wanted to walk the beach but Judith told him that she didn’t want to because she was tired. Even though Judith wanted to just be done for the night, Diego was persistent and finally convinced her to do photos near the beach.

No one (not even their friends) knew anything about the proposal, but as they were taking pictures Diego sneakily asked his friend, Alfredo, to hold his phone and to record on the camera. Diego knelt on one knee and Judith described it like “a slow pause and I was surprised! I then knew it was it, but I didn’t expect it.” So, Diego proposed and all Judith could hear in the background was one of their friends yelling “oh my god he is proposing!” Judith remembers that it was this moment that she began crying and hugged Diego. He asked her the big question with tears in his eyes, and of course a loud yes in response!

When we asked them what they were most excited about for their upcoming wedding, they had a lot to share, like: seeing each other for the first time during the first look, also being with their other half for the rest of their life’s and starting a new family together. Judith & Diego will be getting married in September at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort, Indiana and having their reception at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their “I Do’s.”
