Elise & Jacob met us at the Indianapolis Art Center for their engagement session in which we filmed a beautiful video. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their wedding day with video. Some of our video packages include amazing engagement videos that allow our couples to tell their story. Elise & Jacob and their amazing photographer, Victoria of Victoria Hunt Photography, let us join their engagement photo session to capture some moments through video too.

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. We often book weddings for simply just videography, and when we do we still like to take the time to do an engagement session if possible. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera.

They first met in high school

While doing their interview for the engagement video they told us that they actually met and knew of each other in high school, but Elise described how they were just different people back then. Fate rekindled their relationship by randomly putting them together in the same dorm in college. They caught up on day at a coffee shop, and that’s when Jacob decided he was hooked.

Jacob tried and tried to get Elise to date him, but she was playing hard to get. Finally after much coaxing, and even a trial by fire initiated by one of Jacob’s fraternity littles, she finally said yes.

She wasn’t ready for the proposal

When Jacob planned to prose Elise has just finished working her job at a local preschool. She had about 15 minutes to get ready before they went on a date for dinner. After dinner they walked a trail, and for whatever reason Elise got a hunch that maybe he might propose. She said, “I’m not ready for this.” And made Jacob promise that he was not going to propose.

The real reason why she said she wasn’t ready was actually just because she didn’t feel like she had had enough time to put on make-up and get put together before their date. Of course, she was so ready to marry Jacob, but she wanted to “get ready” a little more before then. But Jacob had other plans–he had all of their friends and family surrounding them, and even a friend flying a drone, when he got down on one knee and proposed to Elise. She describes how in all of the pictures her face is one of pure shock because she truly was not expecting it given that Jacob had just promised he wouldn’t propose. In the end, it all turned out perfect though.

A fall wedding is the perfect time for these two to get married. They’re planning for a wedding at Barn at Bay Horse Inn in Greenwood, Indiana with colors like champaign with modern elements and a touch of fall vibes. We will be videoing their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their “I Do’s”
