Hi, we’re the Langs! We've been collectively creating video and photo media of differing styles for over 5 years. The digital memories that we create have always been as a means to hold a moment in time--something you can review for years and years to come.

Your wedding photos will be the way in which you review and look back on your wedding for years to come. You’ll immediately share them online and with others, you’ll look through them again year after year, but most importantly you will have your wedding photos 50 years from now to reminisce about your wedding day, the ceremony, your first kiss, the first dance, and so much more.
A surprisingly warm spring day at Loft 21 in Lincolnshire, Illinois just north of Chicago spent getting ready at a hotel with their bridal party before seeing each other for the first time at a local park and then walking down the aisle at their beautifully elegant indoor ceremony site, then finishing off the night with dinner, amazing speeches, and tons of dancing to end their first evening together as husband and wife—this was Emily & CJ’s special day.
Kari and Zach expressed from the beginning how excited they were to take photos on their farm with tractors. Their relationship started at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, so they couldn’t imagine photos without their farm being the setting. Whenever we get a chance to try incorporating personal things that are special to our couples into their sessions we are totally down.
Why do photographers love a good sunrise or sunset moment? There are many reasons including lighting, stylistic options, and evenness of tones. Shadows are often better during a sunrise or sunset and placement of subjects (aka you, the client) can create glowing interest with rays of sunbeams in the background. In this post we’ll break down the difference between a sunrise and sunset session and why you should care.
Lyndsey & Jacob had a timeless winter wedding at Gathering Acres Event Center in Lafayette, Indiana. Given the winter storm that happened the day before, the weather cooperated beautifully enough for us to even get some photos outside. After getting ready in their private on-site bridal suits with jean jackets and cowboy boots, Lyndsey & Jacob saw each other for the first time as she approached him down the aisle. As the sun began to set, they continued to celebrated their marriage by partying indoors, eating good food, cutting their cake, and dancing the night away as husband and wife.
Leland has been coming back to our studio year after year for all of his birthday pictures. This year he turned 3 years old!! Boy, how does time fly? This little ball of energy was so fun to have over again, and we love watching him grow. We’ve documented his 6 month photos for him with his family, his 9 month photos in the studio during Christmas time, his one year old cake smash session that was themed around fishing, his second birthday with a “two the moon” theme, and now this session where we commemorated him turning THREE.
Engagement pictures turned family photos is no problem in our eyes! We love incorporating special moments into our sessions that speak specifically to each couple, and Dominique & Brandon could not have imagined their engagement session without their little girl. Their love for each other is full and abundant but it’s not complete without Laina Rae by their side.
This year was honestly our most fun year ever. It’s crazy how much we all grow year after year, but this was the year we felt like it was less about growing and more about enjoying. We truly loved every single wedding, session, milestone, etc., that we got to be a part of. As our business continues to help families and couples capture life’s important milestones with photos and videos we are continually reminded of why we do what we do. We love that we can be a part of memorializing each of our clients’ special days, but also that we can do this together as a family too. This is our first full season with a little one (now a toddler) at our side, and while the learning curve was steap, we were constantly made aware of our reason behind doing all of this. This blog post is dedicated to all of you who helped support our little growing family in 2022 and continued to give us hope for achieving our dreams.
It was early, gloomy, and cold, but these two sure do clean up nice! Kylee and Jacob met us at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt before they opened in the morning for some beautiful holiday themed engagement photos. We had the entire Christmas Market to ourselves, and enjoyed taking our time taking pictures surrounded by all of the lights and holiday decorations.
This family braved the cold. We were only outside for a few quick minutes before rushing into the studio for more portraits of the kids, but what we were able to accomplish so quickly makes it all worth it. This is why we love having our studio on this amazing property–we’ve got plenty of open landscape and even access to the river!
Let me introduce you to Emily & Erik. They met me at France Park to brave the cold for their engagement session. During their session we talked about how they met and Emily said, “We met through mutual friends, I asked Erik to a wedding and the rest is history.” And now, a couple of years later, their wedding date turned into a forever date.
A surprisingly warm fall day at Empeiria 110 in Rochester, Indiana spent getting ready with their bridal party before walking down the aisle in their beautiful outdoor ceremony site and seeing each other for the first time, then finishing off the night with dinner, amazing speeches, and tons of dancing to end their first evening together as husband and wife—this was Michaela & Parker’s special day.

We ensure you that we capture the memories of your special day with your legacy in mind. Our job is to contain the essence of what is you and bottle it into a video and photo gallery that can last a lifetime. We are super thrilled to have this office space where we can not only continue to capture pictures of families and little ones into the cold months, but also have a place to meet with potential couples who want to book with us for their upcoming wedding. Our studio is also where we work day in and day out getting everything edited and posted for all of you!
This studio is still a work in progress (and probably always will be), but we're tired of waiting --I just have to show you around! We actually showed a sneak peak to all of our email newsletter subscribers last month, and since then things have continued to change and develop. We will constantly be bettering our studio, but for now, it has become such a great place for photos and for meeting with clients.

Trevor and I are so excited to announce the birth of our second baby boy. Forrest Allen Lang was born on December 8, 2023. We were at the hospital for a routine non-stress test, which I had been doing for a few months because of my gestational diabetes. I knew we would most likely wind up staying in the hospital because I had been having consistent contractions for a few days leading up to this, so Trevor and I packed our bags just in case. As the contractions progressed, the doctor determined we couldn’t leave, and Mr. Forrest was born that evening via planned c-section.
