Documenting those important milestones of your little one are so fun. Brody and his mama came into the studio right around his first birthday. At The LVP Studio in Northern Indiana we focus on minimal and clean backdrops. We love that we were able to capture the Brody’s mouth open smile, watch him practice standing, and of course get pictures of all of those ornery little faces he makes. Keeping all of the focus on you and your little one’s growth is what these milestone sessions are all about.

We’ve all been tested over and over again these last couple of years. It’s been especially difficult to grow a business, but thanks to all of our amazing clients we’ve been successful even with the struggles of the world making each accomplishment even more rewarding. In last year’s recap we said something that I want to reiterate again this year as it still rings true–“We want to remind you of the growth we have all made even during these hard times—because we know we have all learned so much, changed so much, and accomplished more than we could have imagined in this past year.” This blog post is dedicated to all of you who helped support us in 2021 and continued to give us hope for achieving our dreams.

Often people shy away from winter photos (unless there’s snow on the ground), but this year we have been lucky because the beginning of the season weather has been quite mild. We were able to get together with this big bunch, the Smith family, for family photos. They were such a fun, loving, and care free group which made this winter sunset session a breeze.

We love all of our couples, but we especially love when we get to work with them over and over again. We’ve been able to do family photos, engagement photos, wedding photos, and more for these two!! Before the new year, we got together again with Mandy and Coty Singleton for their complimentary anniversary session to celebrate one year of marriage!

Little Halle came by the studio for some absolutely adorable 1yo pictures. Of course she came sporting her favorite bell bottom pants and tons of pink & cow print. She showed us how she could stand and even let me play with her little stuffed cow.

8 lbs. 12 oz. and measuring 22.5 inches to an excited momma, Alexis, and proud dad, Dylan Swartzell. After birth, they shared, “Momma and little miss are doing well. Dad is a rockstar.”

truly appears that they have each found their soul mate. Riley specifically said, “We are old souls [that] enjoy the outdoors and hanging out with our cute pup, Ava.” We did their engagement photos at the Tippecanoe River State Park in Winamac, Indiana when all of the fall leaves had nearly fallen to the ground. They also brought along their pup for precious pictures with her too.

An overcast fall day spent getting ready with their bridal party at NV Salon before their special first look moment followed by an even more beautiful and indoor wedding at Meadow Springs in Francesville, Indiana, decorated with black draper, pampas grass, and elegant greenery. Then they finished off the evening at their reception with best friends and family celebrating their first night together as husband and wife with fireworks—this was Tricia & Logan’s special day.

Logansport. Just like last year, I was so excited to see Emily and her girls’ names pop up on my calendar again. This was our third year in a row doing pictures together. They were a blast to take pictures with last year, and the year before, and the same was true this time around. I’m hoping to see them for pictures every fall season–how fun would that be??

the quarry was to die for!! It was so steamy and added to the vibes of their intimate engagement. Then as the sun continued to rise over the trees we were able to get the most dreamy photos ever. Thank you Ashton & Christopher for waking up early and bearing the cold with me.
