A dewey morning rain followed by a beautifully warm afternoon at their family residence in Bringhurst, Indiana followed by a reception with their fun-loving friends and family, and then finishing off the night with a sparkler send-off and watching fireworks together as husband and wife—this was Jeffra & Jared’s special day.
From “just friends” to forever!
When we asked Jeffra about her and Jared’s love story before their engagement session earlier last year she said, “We knew each other from high school.” They had went to same school, but were just four years apart. A couple years ago, they got each other’s snapchat and just talked as friends. Jeffra said then “11 months ago we got serious and started talking.” They officially started calling it “dating” in January of 2020.
Just six months after they had officially started dating, Jared knew that Jeffra was the one. After getting her parents’ blessing (and avoiding a few spoilers along the way), Jared proposed on Jeffra’s parents land in their old horse barn. They were walking around taking pictures when they decided to cut through the barn to the other side. Little did Jeffra know that her family and his family were all hiding in a horse stall. Her middle sister was actually the one taking their 6 months photos and had them walk through the barn. That’s when it all happened! According to Jeffra, “it was the most perfect proposal ever!”

A wedding on the most perfect day
What started out as a dewey and drizzly morning later turned into one of the most beautiful and perfect warm summer days. Jeffra & Jared spent the morning inside getting ready with their closest friends and family in private spaces. Jeffra enjoyed cocktails with her girl friends while they relaxed in silk robes while Jared sat around the bar in their barn with all of his dudes.
Once dressed and ready for their special ceremony, Jeffra first did a first look with her dad. Throughout the entirety of the wedding day, Jeffra’s father was reminded of how his little girl was his final daughter to be married away. In the past nine months he had given away all of his girls.
The evening came with a beautiful sunset that Jeffra & Jared enjoyed with their friends and family by chatting over drinks and good food. They ended the night with a fun sparkler send off and tons of amazing fireworks!
