Skylurr & Nicholas grew up knowing of each other because their dads have been best friends since high school, but Skylurr was in Arkansas while Nicholas lived in Indiana. Years later, Skylurr attended Purdue and spent Thanksgiving with Nicholas’s family instead of going home. That visit changed everything; friendship turned into something more, and it all felt natural. Both introverted and low-key, Nicholas proposed simply at home with a bottle of wine and new glasses ready to celebrate. Skylurr said, “It was perfect for us.”

It was such a joy finally meeting Skylurr & Nicholas in person for their engagement session! After chatting with them during their initial inquiry call, it was so fun to see everything come full circle at their session in France Park on a perfect fall evening. The weather couldn’t have been better, and the leaves were just starting to show their autumn colors. France Park is easily one of our favorite spots for sessions because it has a little bit of everything! From the sandy beach area and breathtaking quarry views atop the cliffs to the lush greenery and peaceful trails, it’s the perfect mix of scenery for any couple’s photos.

An engagement video

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. We often book weddings for simply just videography, and when we do we still like to take the time to do an engagement session if possible. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera.

There upcoming wedding at Empeiria 110 in Rochester, Indiana, is going to be such a perfect celebration of the love these two share.
