Lacey & James were an absolute dream to shoot photos of at Hamstra Gardens earlier this week. We met them for their engagement photos at the beautiful gardens on one of the best weather days this year. We all laughed, enjoyed chatting, and honestly had the greatest time taking stunning photos that felt like a fairytale dream.

They fell in love so fast

These two were high school sweeties, and Lacey described their love as one that happened so fast and just stuck. They quickly hit it off and everything grew from there. Lacey & James moved in together and went to college and did all of the “life things” side by side. 

As their dating life continued, Lacey was diagnosed with infertility; however, their little miracle made an appearance a few short months later when they found out they were pregnant just three months after her diagnosis. Lacey says it was the “best surprise ever!” They got engaged and had a baby during the pandemic which we’re sure felt wild for them in the moment. So now they are finally deciding to plan their wedding!

A fall wedding at France Park in Logansport, Indiana is going to be so perfect when these two to get married. Their engagement session felt so whimsical, and they are hoping from the same feelings for their wedding too. They’re planning a woodland theme with colors like dusty blue, pink, and purple. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
