A beautiful Friday the 13th wedding at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana walking down the aisle in a barn set up between tables surrounded by their closest friends and family, proceeding with a touching first look moment, tear-jerking vows, and ending the night with meaningful speeches, good food, plenty of desserts, and dancing with all those they cared about—this was Kaitlyn & Sean’s special day.

“We deserve this!”

Kaitlyn’s sister spoke at their wedding about her first memory of Kaitlyn & Sean getting together. She remembers hearing about how Kaitlyn was getting Facebook messages from some guy. He wasn’t being romantic or poetic, but simply said “We deserve this!” And little did they know, 8 years later, they do deserve it and finally get that wedding of their dreams.

Kaitlyn though, when asked how her and Sean met told us, “Honestly, I’m not even sure exactly how we met. We have went to school together for years! When I was a senior in high school and he was recently graduated, he reached out to me. We began talking and basically the rest is history!” Kaitlyn went away for college but that didn’t keep them apart. He would visit her every other weekend, and simply be the best supporting boyfriend ever.

They told us, “This past year we finally bought a house together in Tinley Park, IL and a new puppy, Mack! In September we had a house warming party with all of our friends and family.” During the party, Sean told Kaitlyn that he wanted to say “thank you” to all of their guests for coming. While they were telling everyone thank you, Sean made Kaitlyn read this sign he had bought for her. The sign was essentially wedding vows and his promise to Kaitlyn. She looked over at him and he got down on his knee and proposed! Kaitlyn said, “It was amazing that our family and friends were able to be there for that special moment.”

The life of the party.

The moment Kaitlyn & Sean met eyes during their first look you could see the sparks of love flying. They were head over heals for each other, and so excited to be getting married. After their first look and bridal portraits, Kaitlyn & Sean met up with their bridal party to prep for the wedding. The day was so perfectly planned, fun for everyone, and definitely a dance-the-night-away kind of night.

Kaitlyn walked down the aisle in a beautiful gown with her father while Sean waited with a huge smile for her to approach. Once together again they said their vows, laughed a few time, then sealed their love with a kiss. The partying started shortly after and didn’t end until late into the night.

One of Sean’s groomsmen spoke of the two as the life of the party—and boy was he right. They always knew how to have a good time, made so many people laugh, and just enjoyed their first evening together as husband and wife.
