We could not have asked for a better first session of their year than to have spent the evening with Taylor & Zach. We met at France Park in Logansport, Indiana, on a chill day for their engagement session. With a little bit of lingering snow still on the ground, but sun shining above, we all laughed, enjoyed chatting, and honestly had the greatest time taking stunning photos that felt warm and cozy.

A modern romance

Taylor & Zach met in high school when he transferred to her school! Taylor was a sophomore and Zach was a senior when they had a study hall and math class together! After Zach graduated in 2015 they unfortunately lost contact until years later when Taylor went on vacation with my family in 2021. In true modern romance fashion, Taylor asked her twin brother for Zach’s snapchat and slid into his DMs. From there the rest is history!

When I asked Taylor about their proposal she said, “it was such a surprise for me!” As their relationship had started to get more serious and things progressed, Taylor gave Zach a long list of what she would love for their engagement if it were to happen one day. Well, when that time finally happened he totally nailed it all. She said, “I had set up pictures for us with our friend because I needed updated photos in our house. He went behind my back and planned the best surprise proposal and engagement dinner I could have ever imagined!”

A fall wedding at Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselaer, Indiana is going to be so perfect when these two to get married. Even though the weather was a bit chilly, their engagement session full of love and warmth, and they are hoping from the same feelings for their wedding too. They’re planning a coppery theme with colors like navy blue, taupe, terracotta, and a rusty rose gold. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
