Shauna & Matthew had a perfect wedding this past Saturday at Vintage Oaks Barn in Delphi, Indiana. They both started their mornings by getting ready with their closest friends and family in the revamped silos onsite. They chose a very fun color combination of purple and orange for their wedding day which made everything look so bright and vibrant! The ceremony took place in front of an arch covered in colorful flowers. After their ceremony, Shauna & Matthew continued to celebrated their marriage at their reception by dancing together for the first time as husband and wife, eating good food, cutting a cake, and partying with their friends.
Their love story:
You can tell that family is important to Shauna & Matt. From having their engagement session on their family’s property, to having Matt’s mom be a pivotal part in their love story, their parents have been an important part of their love from the beginning. Shauna told us that her and Matt were able to meet because of Matt’s mom, Kim, whom she worked with. Because of that “set up” the rest was history.
The ceremony took place at a picturesque barn, whose rustic charm was elevated by a stunning outdoor ceremony site. A gorgeous floral arch, bursting with purple and orange blooms, served as the perfect backdrop for the couple’s heartfelt vows. As they stood before their friends and family, Shauna & Matthew shared personalized promises, their voices filled with emotion and sincerity. These intimate moments were a beautiful reminder of the love and commitment they were about to embark on.
As Shauna & Matthew were pronounced husband and wife, the atmosphere shifted from sentimental to full of joy. Guests made their way to the cocktail hour and then the reception, where the barn’s interior was transformed into a vibrant wonderland. Tables were adorned with purple linens and touches of orange accents, while twinkling string lights and ball lanterns added a whimsical touch. The space was filled with laughter and music, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.
One of the most magical moments of the evening was the couple’s first dance. As the lights dimmed, Shauna & Matthew took to the dance floor, swaying to a soulful love song. Their love shone brightly, and the room was filled with warmth and happiness. Throughout the night, the colorful theme continued to unfold–a decadent dessert table featured orange and purple cupcakes, and a stunning tiered cake adorned with bright flowers. Shauna & Matthew’s colorful wedding was a testament to the beauty of embracing individuality and creativity. By incorporating bold hues and personal touches, they crafted a celebration that truly reflected their unique love story. As they begin their new life together, their vibrant wedding day will remain a cherished memory, inspiring them to continue living life in full color.
