Lilly & Nick shared intimate vows and said “I do” on a recent Sunday at the gorgeous Morris Estate chapel in Niles, Michigan. Their elegant and vintage floral celebration, featuring a dainty palette of navy, blues, and wildflowers, brought a light and modest gracefulness to their warm summer wedding—perfectly complementing the simplicity of the crisp white chapel that they got married in on the estate. The day began with a private first look down the chapel aisle followed by an exchange of vows that was meaningful and well done by both Lilly & Nick. After their moments alone, the couple hid away waiting for guests to arrive before their classic ceremony with thoughtful religious elements. The festivities continued under the tent just outside the chapel, where the evening was filled with gracious toasts, smooth slow dancing, and unforgettable moments shared with their closest family and friends.
Lilly & Nick had mutual friends and even sat across from each other in Freshman English class, and they talked constantly. Lilly shared, “We began talking our senior year of high school and then started dating. We never thought we’d be where we are right now but we continued dating through our senior year and into college.”
They both went to Ball State for their freshman year and then both came back to IUSB because of their goals of getting married! They told us that the most important thing about their relationship is that they have experienced God’s grace through it all as He has transformed their relationship from them at the center to Christ at the center. They told us, “We have grown so much and are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our relationship!”

Lilly & Nick’s wedding day at The Morris Estate chapel in Niles, Michigan was nothing short of elegant and heartfelt. On a Sunday morning, the couple exchanged intimate vows in one of the most picturesque venues in the region—a crisp white chapel surrounded by lush greenery, perfectly suited for their warm summer celebration. Their wedding style featured an elegant, vintage-inspired tea party theme with delicate touches of navy, soft blues, and wildflower accents. Lilly collected vintage tea seats to use as centerpieces featuring Blue Willow accents throughout their entire day. The dainty color palette brought a modest yet graceful charm to the entire day, beautifully complementing the timeless simplicity of the chapel.
The day began with a private first look inside the chapel, where Lilly walked down the aisle to meet Nick for an intimate moment together before the ceremony. They shared deeply personal vows, written from the heart, creating a memory they will never forget. After exchanging words of love and commitment, the couple took photos with their bridal party before having a quiet prayer by themselves before guests began to arrive.
The ceremony itself was classic and meaningful, incorporating thoughtful religious elements that reflected their values and faith. With sunlight streaming through the windows and surrounded by their closest family and friends, Lilly & Nick said “I do” in the most romantic setting imaginable. The pews were dropped with blue ribbon bows, the aisle was perfectly sprinkled with white flower petals, while the couple stood in front of a neutral wood cross.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued under a beautifully decorated tent on the estate grounds. Guests enjoyed gracious and emotional toasts that told stories of love, laughter, and friendship. The evening was filled with smooth slow dancing, delicious food, and heartfelt moments that perfectly reflected the couple’s relationship. Every detail—from the tea sets and floral arrangements to the intimate dance floor—created an atmosphere of warmth and connection. Lilly & Nick’s wedding was a day filled with elegance, joy, and unforgettable memories that they and their loved ones will cherish forever.
