A beautiful summer afternoon at The Legacy Barn in Kokomo, Indiana spent getting ready with their bridal party and family, sharing a touching first look moment, laughing together before their heartwarming ceremony, and then finishing off the night with tear-jerking speeches, tons of wild dancing, and enjoying their first night together as husband and wife—this was Hayli & Bryce’s special day.
They met in the llama barn
During their reception, Hayli’s maid of honor gave a touching speech where she talked of their 20 years of friendships, playing with their doll house, and many more memories that they’d made throughout the years. One story the maid of honor told was that of how Hayli & Bryce met. She said “who knew that amongst the llama spit you would be meeting your future wife.” Because, you see, Halyi & Bryce had met in the llama barn at the fair.
When I later asked Hayli how Bryce proposed, she told me that he “proposed at the Monitcello drive-in concert for Garth Brooks.” His plan was to propose before the concert, and then in blissful happiness they could dance the evening away listening to good music as fiances.
An evening full of laughter
Hayli & Bryce’s entire wedding day was so fun! The laughter started as soon as we showed up. Hayli spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids while Bryce had fun getting ready with his groomsmen as well. After they were all dressed and prepped for their big day, Hayli & Bryce had intended to share a first look together; however, unbeknownst to him, Bryce was about to be greated by one of his groomsmen in a wedding gown. As we pretended that Hayli was approaching him, Bryce had butterflies in his stomach. And after a few posed pictures to share in the suspense, Bryce finally turned around to see his friend wearing a gown.
The laughter and fun continued throughout the evening. After a romantic actual first look between Hayli & Bryce, a gorgeous ceremony with meaningful vows, the reception began. They danced the night away as husband and wife and enjoyed the company of all of their family and friends. Hayli & Bryce ended their wedding day with a sparkler send off, a dip and deep kiss, then a limo ride away into the night.
