We love seeing families year after year. Last year I found out that it is a tradition of the Binkley family to hire a photographer every year for amazing pictures that better capture the personality of all of her children, and I was honored that LVP Studios was chosen to be their photographer again this year. We had the opportunity to take family photos again for the Binkley family at Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana.

We started our session at the White-DeVries Rowing Center with Lake Maxinkuckee in the background. We took photos of this blended family under a beautiful willow tree, along the walking paths, and in the surrounding fields. Their colors of white, yellow, and pink really stood out with the glowing sunlight and fresh greenery surrounding them.

Seeing Raelyn and her family again for another year in a row is proof of just that. Photographers have a superpower—we can freeze time! Families grow and change so fast. Yearly photos capture changes in our lives. They capture who you are at this point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed.
