This engagement session was just amazing!! We started at sunrise at France Park in Logansport, IN and the fog on the quarry was to die for!! It was so steamy and added to the vibes of their intimate engagement. Then as the sun continued to rise over the trees we were able to get the most dreamy photos ever. Thank you Ashton & Christopher for waking up early and bearing the cold with me.

Engagement sessions are some of our favorite shoots because we get to take the time to get to know our future wedding couples even more! Ashton & Christoper will be getting married this December at The Parish House on Union in Delphi and have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo!

One text and they haven’t stopped talking since

I asked Ashton how her and Christopher met. She said, “We actually met at work! The person training me was his best friend and was kinda my wing man!” Ashton’s work friend had asked her to come to Chris’ baptism. Later she messaged Chris congratulating him on his commitment, and they’ve never stopped talking since. One text, just one message, lead to this life long love and upcoming wedding.

Ashton also said, “The proposal was perfect, I had NO idea it was happening.” Chris had been telling Ashton for well over two weeks that he wanted to go kayaking up north by her parents. They did a four mile trail which Ashton also described as perfect. They then ended up at the Monticello park boat dock area. She said, “We walked up by the gazebo and I saw some decorations set up, then looked up and saw his mom taking pictures. I looked at him and said ‘what’s happening?’ He was like, ‘I think you know.’ I couldn’t stop smiling and then he proposed and my entire family came out from hiding along with his parents and we had a cookout to celebrate at the park.”

A snowy winter wedding is going to be a perfect time for these two to get married. They’ll be saying their “I Do’s” at The Parish House on Union in Delphi. Classy looks with forest green colors and gold accents will look stunning during a winter wedding scene, and we LOVE the ideas! We will be photographing their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
