Katie & Evan have the most adorable meet cute. They first met during a special education conference for a student. Evan told us during their engagement session that when he walked into the room he instantly got heart eyes. He sat next to her (on purpose), and then they were set up a few weeks later by a mutual friend.

France Park is one of our favorite pictures spots

You might notice that we use some of the same locations over and over again. That’s the joy of living in a small town–there’s not always a ton of options unless lots of travel is involved. However, all that being said, we truly love shooting at France Park. We love it because you can get beachy vibes, trail and greenery looks, and stunning cliff sides! It feels like every couple of turns is a new photo opportunity with an entirely different look to it.

We met Katie & Evan at France Park on one of the nicest days of the season so far. As you can tell from their engagement photos, the lighting was just perfect! It gave them the best glowy look. We started our session off at my favorite spot: the beachside with tall grassy fronds. After the sun set a little more we traveled up the cliffs to take stunning photos of them on the edge with hazy sun shinning all over on them. Lastly, we ended their session with classic poses on a nearby bridge and walking path.

This summer wedding at The Promise Lane Barn at JLS Acres in Peru, Indiana is going to be such a perfect celebration of the love these two share. They’re planning an authentic wedding with some of their favorite colors like: dusty rose, light pink, lilac, and all things flowery! They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
