On a snowy winter day, Sadie & Reed met us downtown in Culver, Indiana for their engagement session. We are so excited for their Academy wedding later this summer at the stunning Culver Academies Memorial Chapel where the weather will be warmer and the day memorable.

Sadie and Reed’s love story began at Bradley University, where fate brought them together through Sadie’s sorority big. From the very start, there was an undeniable connection between them, one that only grew stronger with time. As they navigated college life together, their bond deepened, but it was the summer of 2023 that truly solidified their relationship in Sadie’s heart.

Reed made the ultimate romantic gesture by moving to Culver to spend five weeks working at camp alongside her. This wasn’t just any summer job—it meant enduring rustic living conditions, including sharing a cabin with mice and dealing with constant dirt, all for the chance to be near her. His willingness to embrace the challenges of camp life just to be with Sadie was a testament to his devotion, proving to her that their love was built to last.

A lakeside proposal

Reed’s proposal to Sadie on September 7, 2024, was nothing short of magical. Choosing a breathtaking lake overlook as the backdrop, he set the stage for a moment they would cherish forever.
