Lyndsey & Jacob celebrated their one year anniversary earlier this year in March. Due to Jacob’s work on large boats that take him away for extended periods of time, we had to push their complimentary engagement session back a couple of months—but it all worked out in the end with beautiful weather! 

Reminiscing on their surprisingly warm winter wedding

Lyndsey and Jacob met up with us again for their complimentary anniversary session! I always joke with my couples that at this point they are beyond pro at posing for photos with us—we’ve had an engagement session, their wedding, and now this anniversary session. It’s always so fun to get back together one year later to catch up, chat about life as a married couple, and take some fun updated photos.

It was so much fun doing this session again with them and chatting about their wedding one year later. Thinking back on their wedding, some of our favorite wedding day moments with them included: their timeless aesthetic with lots of rustic undertones, how they added their own personal flare with cowboy boots and denim jackets, and how others provided words of wisdom and encouragement during their ceremony. Lyndsey & Jacob had a surprisingly warm winter wedding at Gather Acres in Lafayette, Indiana where the weather cooperated beautifully given the winter storm that happened the day before.
