With a day as beautiful as this particular Saturday, we were blessed to have had a handful of sessions back to back! I’m so glad we were able to get together with Holly and Daron at Altherr Nature Park in Monticello for these adorable pictures of their little family. I really haven’t seen Holly since when we were kids attending the same church growing up, so it was nice to reconnect and chat while obviously snapping a few amazing photos along the way.

Photographers have a superpower—we can freeze time! Families grow and change so fast, but yearly photos capture changes in our lives. They capture who you are at this point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed. Photos can freeze these moments of growth and document each step of change.
