I need to start this post by saying: I narrowed down a gallery of almost 150 images to these few you see in the blog. While I do this with every session, something about this one just felt so much harder. I wanted to keep every single one of Charlotte’s cute little scrunched up faces, I wanted to showcase all of her silly expressions, and I couldn’t bear to remove any photos even though I know that to most they would feel like duplicate images. The many faces of Charlie cannot be contained.

I’ve known this family for years. And now that they have a little one about the same age as our own, we have even more reason to get together. Charlotte’s mom (Lexi) and I often would grab coffee or icecream together before the babies came into our lives, but now we have play dates–which arguably is even better than icecream. Because Charlie sees me often during these play dates, our session seemed like a breeze.

Whenever I’m doing any sort of milestone session we first need to get to know one another. For a Little One this can take awhile. But with Charlie, it was like any other play date. I could quickly make her smile, tickle her, move her around, and ensure she looked best for the camera. And boy did she!! She knew just what she was doing and how to work every angle.

Milestone sessions are all about documenting the moments as your baby grows during their first year. You can schedule sessions for fresh 48, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year! Commemorating these important milestones with beautiful pictures (and even amazing video) is something that you will cherish for a lifetime.

These sessions can often be called sitter sessions, monthly sessions, or so much more.
