We are so grateful to be able to see clients like the Dagenais Family year after year. This was our third session together, and we have literally been able to watch their children grow through these photos and video. Just like last year, we were able to get together for a warm summer session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, Indiana.

One thing that we truly wish we could do for more of our families is capture their days with video. The Dagenais family always books with photos and videos! There’s just something special about having a short video of your family year after year. Families grow and change so fast. Videos can capture who you are at a certain point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed.

When people watch old family videos why do they do it? In most cases, they’re watching those videos to remember a time that was. Think about those old videos that maybe your mom or dad filmed of you opening Christmas gifts as a kid. Or how about those videos that you have stored away on your phone of your own family doing something super cute or funny.

There are many amazing family videos that we have put together for our clients. We love taking part in documenting special moments for families as they continue to grow and change. No matter if your event is something big and life changing, or something as simple as making cookies, we want to be there to take video and photograph the day.
