We loved catching up with Kiely and Cole at Tippecanoe River State Park for their maternity session! We saw them a couple of years ago for a couples’ session as well as their engagement photos a handful of years ago, and it felt so special to reconnect with them in this new season of life. Seeing couples grow, evolve, and step into parenthood is one of our favorite parts of what we do, and these two were glowing with excitement. Now, they’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl, who will be joining their family very soon.

Maternity sessions hold a unique kind of magic. There’s a calm, joyful anticipation that fills every moment. It’s a mix of hope, wonder, and the beauty of waiting. These months go by faster than anyone expects, and having photos from this chapter becomes something truly meaningful. It’s a way to freeze the quiet moments of connection, the gentle smiles, the hands resting on a growing belly, and the love that’s already forming for the little one who isn’t even here yet. We always encourage families to capture this season, because it’s as fleeting as it is precious.

Tippecanoe River State Park was the perfect backdrop for their session. In the fall, this park transforms into a warm tapestry of golds, oranges, and deep reds that make every photo feel cozy and timeless. The winding trails, open fields, and soft light filtering through the trees gave us so many gorgeous spots to work with. It’s one of our favorite places for sessions because it offers both variety and endless glowing light which is the ideal combination for capturing meaningful moments.

Kiely and Cole were an absolute joy to photograph, and we couldn’t be happier for them as they prepare to welcome their little girl. We’re already excited for the next chapter in their story.
