This is our third year in a row with the Binkley Family. See their previous session here and here. We love seeing families year after year. It is a tradition of the Binkley family to hire a photographer every year for amazing pictures that capture the growth of all of the children and adults. As with previous years, I am honored that LVP Studios was chosen to be their photographer again this year. We had the opportunity to take family photos for the Binkley family at Five Buds Farm in North Judson, Indiana.

Five Buds Farm is a beautiful wedding venue in North Judson, Indiana. It’s always a fun experience to take photos at new locations, and Five Buds Farm did not disappoint. We took photos of this blended family down the walking path nearby, inside the barn on site, and near the pine trees. Their colors of creams and blues really stood out with the warm tons and fresh greenery surrounding them.

As is our tradition with the Binkley Family, we took more “headshot style” photos as part of their family session. Because they don’t do school pictures, this was the chance for Raelyn to get those great photos that she can hang on her wall. We did individuals with each of the kids, as well as, one on one moments with each of them and mom. It is always adorable.

Seeing Raelyn and her family again for another year in a row is proof of just that. Photographers have a superpower—we can freeze time! Families grow and change so fast. Yearly photos capture changes in our lives. They capture who you are at this point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed.
