We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
A beautiful summer afternoon on Labor Day Monday at Richwood on the River in Milton, KY spent getting ready with their bridal party, saying their precious vows in front of all of their family, and then finishing off the night with an intimate dinner, tear-jerking speeches, tons of wild dancing, and enjoying their first night together as husband and wife—this was Jessica & Scott’s special day.
Their eyes met and the rest was history
We first met Jessica & Scott for a fun engagement video. At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. We often book weddings for simply just videography, and when we do we still like to take the time to do an engagement session if possible. Jessica & Scott booked with us for their wedding as video only, but we still wanted to take the time to get to know them better before their big day. So, we teamed up with their photographer during their engagement session in order to make a video about their love story that they can cherish for a lifetime.
Their story with us started at Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville, Indiana on a gorgeous fall evening between the rows of vines where Jessica worked. Jessica was the event coordinator at Daniel’s Vineyard and has become a good friend of ours through many Zoom calls and virtual chats. While we had seemed to have talked a lot virtually, our engagement video session was a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a bit more and finally say hello in person.
During our time together, we asked Jessica & Scott how they met, and they told us “we met at a restaurant–some like to say their eyes met and the rest was history.” They joked about how Scott had originally pulled a prank on Jessica during one of her first days there. Apparently, Jessica had asked Scott where the mayo was and he facetiously responded asking whether she meant burger or tenderloin mayo. This sent Jessica on a wild goose chase in order to figure out what she needed, but once she realized she’d been played a prank on she went back to give Scott a hard time. Welcome to the family!
Family was a big part of Jessica & Scott’s wedding day. And to them family meant more than blood. They celebrated with those closest to them and everyone was called family. When we asked Jessica what she was most excited for on her wedding day she told us that she couldn’t wait to see the “roster for the first time at the ceremony!” All of her amazing friends and family that her and Scott had invited to be a part of their big day!
Jessica & Scott got married at Richwood on the River in Milton, KY. The estate there was lovely! They got ready within the rooms before meeting each other on either side of the aisle later in the beautiful front lawn. After saying their vows to one another and finally becoming husband and wife with a kiss, Jessica & Scott and their guests traveled to the back patio area to begin their dinner. It was decorated with hints of Fall Bohemian vibes and rustic colors like champagne/nude mauve, taupe, rust, sage/greens, and showcased wood elements!
After dinner, everyone traveled inside for the final festivities which included tons of dancing, a band, and lots of laughter. More guests arrived as Jessica & Scott were formally introduced as husband and wife. Later they ended the night with a sparkler send off as they rode away for the first time as a family.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Thoman!
