The blended Marxmiller crew met us at Tippecanoe River State Park last week for a special extended family session while everyone was in town. With kids growing up, family members spread across different states, and life pulling us in so many directions, it’s such a gift when a family can all be together in one place. We love capturing these moments—laughs, hugs, and the kind of joy that only happens when you’re surrounded by your people.
Extended family sessions (aka sessions including grandparents, their grown children, and all the grandkids) are such a meaningful way to preserve your family’s legacy in photos. Whether your family is traditional, blended, or a beautiful mix of both, these sessions are an opportunity to celebrate connection across generations. In today’s busy world, it’s rare that everyone is in one place at the same time, which is why capturing those moments matters so much. We believe it’s important to photograph the people you love—biological or chosen—and to create images that reflect the story of your family, exactly as it is. From sweet grandparent snuggles to the chaos and laughter of the grandkids running around, these sessions are always filled with emotion and genuine connection.
It’s so important that you find a family photographer and videographer that you love, and it’s just as important—if not more important—for you to find a team that you can you connect with and feel comfortable around. We find that the perfect families are the ones that we can create lifelong relationships with! At LVP Studios, our goal is to serve you in a way that empowers you to continue making memories and documenting them with us.
