Shelby & Tucker are getting married! These two have been friends since childhood, and you could definitely tell that their connection was soul deep by the amount of laughs, teasing, and admiration they shared with one another during their time with us. I loved that we were able to add a personal element to their engagement session by traveling to their personal property to take photos with their cows. Everything about this evening with Shelby & Tucker just felt so authentically them!

They’ve always known each other

When I asked Shelby to tell me about the story of their love she said, “We have been friends that ran around with mutual friends always having fun together.” Their grandparents lived on the same street so growing up all of the cousins in each of their families used to hang out. It wasn’t until recently though that they rekindled the friendship which then turned into a romance. During their video interview (which you can view below), they told us how Tucker was trying to shoot his shot by sending her messages. He finally succeeded to set up a date with a “hey boo” text.

They described their proposal as very simple. It took place in the house before they left for a banquet. Shelby told us, “He just couldn’t wait any longer and had to do it.” And while it was all unplanned and very spur of the moment, their proposal couldn’t have been more them.

An engagement video

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. We often book weddings for simply just videography, and when we do we still like to take the time to do an engagement session if possible. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera.

There upcoming wedding at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, is going to be such a perfect celebration of the love these two share. They’re planning an boho winter wedding with colors like rustic rose. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that they can finally be married surrounded by close friends and family and eat all the cake!
