We’ll travel for your wedding or engagement session! We love to travel to new locations that we’ve never shot at before. That’s what we did with Kayleigh & Aaron. They wanted to do their engagement session at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana, and we’re so glad they did—it was a gorgeous evening and a stunning sunset.

The cutest love story

Kayleigh was a server in the town of Oldenburg, and Aaron was coming to a wedding right across the street. Fate seemed to pull them together as Aaron stopped in the same restaurant where Kayleigh was working with some friends before the reception. She thought he was cute, so Kayleigh’s friend, Kat, slipped Aaron her phone number… and the rest is history!

Their engagement has a lot to do with that night in Oldenburg–Aaron wanted to make the proposal a complete surprise and as sentimental as possible! They went down to Oldenburg for a birthday party. Their plan was to have a few drinks with Kat and her husband after the party. Being funny and cute, Aaron wanted to take a picture in front of the church where they first met, and unbeknownst to Kayleigh it was all part of his plan to propose right then! He also somehow managed to get both of their families at the pub where we met to celebrate afterwards!

A beautiful summer wedding is the perfect time for these two to get married. They’ll be saying their “I Do’s” at The Barn on 400 in Anderson, Indiana. Last time we chatted they were told us about their wedding theme of a slightly rustic feel and colors like dusty blue, navy blue, and lots of greenery! We will be photographing and video recording their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
