We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
A beautiful day at The Sixpence in Whitestown, Indiana spent getting ready with their bridal party, sharing in loads of first look moments, saying their precious vows in front of their closest family and friends, and then finishing off the night with dinner, amazing speeches, tons of dancing, and riding off in a vintage car for their first night together as husband and wife—this was Madison & Chas’s special day.
Two college athletes fell in love.
College was a pivotal moment for Madison & Chas. They both went to Marian University where he played football and she played softball. Madison told us, “We were introduced through mutual friends.” And as the saying so often goes… the rest was history.
When we asked them about their proposal they told us that Chas proposed to Madison behind her parents’ home next to the pool & pool house. Of course she quickly said yes, and he then took her under the pool house and played a video of everyone close to them congratulating them. She said, “It was like a movie.” This love story melts out heart because (as I’m sure you’re well aware) we truly love anything involving video.
While I know that wedding photos are a must, there are certain things that photos just can’t capture the same way that videos can. The posed shots, beautiful still moments, and glimpses of emotion are perfectly captured by a good photographer. But your vows, the first dance, laughter and crying, the speeches given by the most important people to you; all of these things (and so much more) can’t be captured with photos. At LVP Studios, we focus on telling stories that are an authentic representation of a couple’s wedding day by capturing the raw emotions, the connections between friends and family, and the emotions of your special day.
Since we focus on photos AND video, I offer a unique perspective into what video does that photos just can’t accomplish. We previously made a list of 12 things that video can capture but photos, read it here.
They know how to have a good time!
It’s funny to see our couples’ questionnaire answers change as they get closer and closer to their wedding date. We always send at least two questionnaires during the course of booking with us. One when we first meet, and one about a month before the wedding date. Our favorite question to reference is “What are you most excited for” and “What are you most nervous for?” When we originally asked what Madison was most nervous about she said things like crying, her make-up smearing, etc. But as we got closer to her wedding date that answer changed. She told us she was nervous “that everything comes together exactly how I want it and chas and I have a good time.”
And boy did they have a good time! The wedding was perfect, timeless, classic, and oh so elegant. It’s like all of her nervous fears faded away and she was able to do all of the fun things that she was most excited for like seeing Chas as she walked down the aisle, and seeing all of their friends and family on the dance floor. In her final questionnaire she said she was most excited about “Finally marrying Chas and seeing all our family in one place.”
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Buening!
