We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
A surprisingly warm fall day at Empeiria 110 in Rochester, Indiana spent getting ready with their bridal party before walking down the aisle in their beautiful outdoor ceremony site and seeing each other for the first time, then finishing off the night with dinner, amazing speeches, and tons of dancing to end their first evening together as husband and wife—this was Michaela & Parker’s special day.
Their love story goes way back
When we got together for their engagement pictures Michaela told us, “We met in Mr. Bailey’s class in 6th grade. We had a huge crush on each other and dated for a whole week until I broke up with Parker because I was too scared my dad would find out I had a boyfriend.” They dated off and on throughout their schooling, but were just never at the point that they wanted to be serious. So, they went their separate ways and off to college.
Later they both had an internship at Braun the summer before their junior year of college (summer of 2017). They told me, “It started off with us eating lunch together every day. Parker was always trying to make the moves to take me out on a date, but I wasn’t really interested. He was persistent, and he had an extra ticket to a concert. So I finally caved for a “casual” date at a Sam Hunt concert at Ruoff and the rest is kind of history.” He slowly got Michaela to go on more dates with him, and they were “officially” dating by the beginning of July 2017 when they went on a trip to Michigan for the 4th of July.
Thinking back on their late fall wedding we know just how lucky Michaela & Parker were to have such gorgeous weather. Often times you can be so unsure about the temperature during the end of fall, but Michaela & Parker were thrilled to have decent weather for their outside ceremony.
Empeiria 110 is a gorgeous venue just outside Rochester, Indiana, located on the Fulton and Marshall County line, and only a couple miles from Kosciusko County. It’s modern black look with elegant touches as well as being an outdoor barn surrounded by beautiful landscape ensures that it can be the perfect venue for all kinds of couples. The mixture of authentic weathered wood, brick, metals, and concrete make a sophisticated space.
Michaela & Parker chose not to see each other until coming down the aisle. This always leaves an opening for an emotional moment. As Michaela traveled down the outdoor aisle under the covered awning towards the beautiful arch where Parker and their bridal party stood everyone couldn’t help but smile. Their ceremony was emotional and sweet, and their reception was just the same. They partied the night away after saying their “I do’s” and enjoyed their first moments as husband and wife surrounded by their family and friends.
