Anne & Billy first reached out to me wanting to schedule a family session. After talking more with Anne, I quickly learned that what her and Billy needed was more of an intimate couple’s session for just the two of them. Anne told me, “we have been together for 15 years, married 12, [and] haven’t had our pictures taken professionally since we had gotten engaged.” They thought it was time they finally got pictures together again!
Billy, a Navy veteran, and Anne, a lover of all things pink, met over fifteen years ago. During their session I asked them how they had gotten together, and Anne told me that Billy would come to his niece’s home where Anne was rooming and then eventually he just started coming around more and more. After three years of dating and courting, Billy finally asked Anne to marry him. They had professional photos done for their engagement many many years ago, but had not taken the time to get photos done together again ever since. They were both very excited for this session and wanted to ensure that we could capture their true selves together and to show the world that they still cared for each other.
We are so grateful that Anne & Billy entrusted LVP Studios to capture their love once again with this adorable couple’s session. We met at the Nature Center near the back of the Tippecanoe River State Park, and even though you can’t tell from these pictures, we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Anne & Billy were both troupers and worked quickly with me to complete this session while being uncomfortable with all the bug bites. I think that the fact that we were able to still laugh, capture their personalities, get to know one another more, and ultimately have an amazing session through it all is a testament to how supportive and caring Anne & Billy are of one another.
