Madison & Cameron’s wedding day at Valle Vista in Greenwood, Indiana, started out on a warm Saturday with gorgeous weather. They got into their respective suites on the golf course with the help of friends and family before having their first looks under the gazebo near the pond on site. Later Cameron watched Madison walk down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony site where they shared intimate personal vows before getting whisked away on a horse and carriage. They followed up the night with dinner, amazing speeches, and tons of dancing to end their first evening together as an officially married couple.

The proposal didn’t go as planned

Let’s start this love story off at the beginning. We love to hear from our couples about how they met and how the proposal went. We sent our typical questionnaire to Madison & Cameron and this is what they said: “We met in high school, but did not start dating until sophomore year of college. Our roommates were dating each other and since we all knew each other from high school, we started hanging out in the same friend group.”

One thing led to another and their relationship just seemed to happen so smoothly. The same is true for how their proposal went. Even though according to the plan that Cameron initially had things didn’t actually go properly, he still had a backup option that went just as smoothly. Madison told us, “He proposed to me in January of this year at the Indianapolis canal by the end where there is a waterfall. His first plan was proposing to me at Newfields, which we did spend most our day at, but my friends were supposed to be at the meeting spot hiding around 5 and the museum closed at 4! So he had to go to plan 2, which was still so lovely.”

A classic wedding at the country club

We’ve shot weddings at the Valle Vista a few times now and these weddings are always so classic and perfectly planned. We love the staff and the coordinators that come with each specific wedding. Madison & Cameron had a similarly classic wedding that went together perfectly. They started their day getting ready in their respective suites on the golf course. After both of them were looking just right they shared their first look under a gazebo near the pond on site.

After their first look, plenty of pictures, and a few peaceful moments to themselves, Cameron watched Madison walk down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony site. They shared intimate personal vows that nearly made the entire crowd tear up before getting whisked away on a horse and carriage. Once the ceremony was over and more pictures were completed they followed up the night with dinner, amazing speeches, and tons of dancing to end their first evening together as an officially married couple.
