Shelby & Tucker were married at Ancilla Domini Chapel in Plymouth, Indiana. Before their ceremony at the beautiful historic church, they shared a special first look moment outside on the grounds. Tucker was blown away by how beautiful Shelby looked in her dress. As guests arrived it was soon apparent how loved these two are considering the sheer number of people who continued to fill the pews. After their formal ceremony, the celebration of their union continued with a reception at Swan Lake Resort. It contained great food, a lively band, and a sparkler send off.
They’ve always known each other
When I asked Shelby to tell me about the story of their love she said, “We have been friends that ran around with mutual friends always having fun together.” Their grandparents lived on the same street so growing up all of the cousins in each of their families used to hang out. It wasn’t until recently though that they rekindled the friendship which then turned into a romance. During their video interview for their engagement session, they told us how Tucker was trying to shoot his shot by sending her messages. He finally succeeded to set up a date with a “hey boo” text.
Shelby and Tucker’s wedding day unfolded with a timeless, classic feel from beginning to end. They were married at Ancilla Domini Chapel in Plymouth, Indiana, a stunning historic church that set the tone perfectly for their traditional Catholic ceremony. Before the ceremony began, the two shared a quiet and emotional first look just outside on the chapel grounds. Tucked away from arriving guests, Tucker saw Shelby for the first time in her dress, and his reaction said everything. It was one of those moments that felt both intimate and unforgettable, giving them a chance to slow down and soak in the day together before everything officially began.
As guests started to arrive, it quickly became clear just how deeply loved Shelby and Tucker are. The chapel filled row by row, with friends and family eager to witness the beginning of their marriage. In fact, so many people came to celebrate them that extra chairs had to be added to the back of the church. Their ceremony was a beautiful and reverent Catholic observance, filled with meaningful traditions and a sense of sacredness that made the moment even more impactful.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Swan Lake Resort, where the atmosphere shifted into something lively and joyful. Following their grand entrance, Shelby and Tucker moved right into cutting their cake and sharing their first dance, setting the tone for an evening full of energy and connection. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, heartfelt speeches that had everyone both laughing and tearing up, and a live band that kept the dance floor full all night long. The evening ended with a glowing sparkler send-off, the perfect, magical close to a day that felt full in every possible way.
