A warm fall morning spent getting ready with their favorite people before their special first look moment followed by an even more beautiful and sunny afternoon wedding at the Farmhouse in Fair Oaks, Indiana, and finishing off the evening at their reception with best friends and family celebrating their first night together as husband and wife—this was Tara & David’s special day.
She was kidnapped to a Blackhawks game
They told me how they met at a local sports restaurant called Bridges. Tara said, “I would frequent the place to drink beer and watch Cubs games, and it was a spot David and his friends had been going to for over 15 years.” According to them, apparently it is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and they greet you by name when you walk in the door.
One New Years Eve at Bridges, David invited Tara to a Blackhawks game that was coming up in two weeks, and she happily accepted. Now that they’re married, Tara’s maid of honor spoke at the wedding about how this was actually a “kidnapping.” She couldn’t believe she was actually going to a Blackhawks game. Their Fall Farmhouse Wedding
Tara & David got married at The Farmhouse in Fair Oaks, Indiana. They spend the morning getting ready with all of their favorite people before sharing a special first look moment out near the trees. As Tara approached David he turned around to see her for the first time. She looked stunning and he looked so dapper.
After their first look together, Tara & David traveled to their ceremony site where a string group played music and the sun was shinning so bright over head. They stood under the circular arbor and said their vows before sharing a kiss signifying their marriage. During family formal photos the setting sun was peaking through the trees and the glow about them was simply magical.
Later that evening, Tara & David celebrated their first night as husband and wife at the reception. A live band played and they danced the night away. They shared in good food, lots of laughter, and precious speeches with their closest friends and family.
