Megan & Cale got married at the beautiful Ember Wood in Walton, Indiana. This gorgeous industrial barn style venue suited their brown and navy theme so well. They chose not to do a first and instead Cale got to see Megan for the first time as she walked down the aisle with tears in her eyes alongside her dad. After a meaningful marriage ceremony that included a cross dedication, they finally got to say “I do” and share in their first kiss. At their reception, Megan & Cale enjoyed good food after individually dismissing each of their guests, followed by lots of good treats, dances, and a fun party.

A calm and relaxed couple

Megan & Cale first met us at Tippecanoe River State Park for their engagement session on the most breathtaking fall evening. The leaves were changing so vibrantly around us, painting the perfect backdrop as we explored the trails together. What stood out most was the peaceful connection these two share. They were calm, relaxed, and so clearly comfortable in each other’s presence. You can just tell that being together brings them an incredible sense of ease and joy. We loved capturing their sweet love in such a beautiful place!

Fall Barn Wedding

Megan & Cale celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Ember Wood in Walton, Indiana. With its gorgeous industrial barn-style setting and their rich brown and navy color palette, the entire day came together so beautifully! One of the sweetest decisions Megan & Cale made was choosing not to do a first look. Instead, Cale got to see his bride for the very first time as she walked down the aisle alongside her dad, tears in her eyes. There is something so special about that moment, when all the anticipation of the day finally meets the reality of standing in front of the person you get to spend the rest of your life with. It was such a beautiful way to begin their marriage!

Their ceremony was filled with meaningful moments, including a special cross dedication that served as a reminder of the foundation they want their marriage to be built upon. After exchanging their vows, Megan & Cale finally got to say “I do” and share their very first kiss as husband and wife!

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with their favorite people. Rather than simply making their way through a receiving line, Megan & Cale individually dismissed their guests, giving them the opportunity to personally connect with everyone who came to celebrate their marriage. They then enjoyed a delicious dinner, plenty of sweet treats, special dances, and a reception full of fun and celebration.
