Courtney and her crew met us at Davis Ferry Park in Lafayette, Indiana for their fall family session, and this spot truly never disappoints. Davis Ferry Park offers such a perfect mix of natural beauty, from the trails surrounded by colorful leaves to the calm waterfront views and open fields that stretch into the distance. And of course, the old bridge adds that touch of rustic charm that makes every gallery feel unique.

This family kept us on our toes in the best way. Their son was a burst of energy, running, exploring, and keeping everyone laughing the entire session. Rather than slowing him down, we embraced his wild spirit and moved right along with him, capturing authentic, joy-filled moments that reflected who he really is. Meanwhile, their daughter was the perfect balance of calm, thoughtful, and so invested in the creative process. She loved suggesting poses and ideas, and it’s always inspiring to see that kind of artistic spark in someone so young.
