Sabrina & Nicoli got married one Sunday at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello, Indiana. Their uniquely themed Tolkien wedding was inspired by some of their favorite books including readings that took place during their ceremony. They spent the morning getting ready privately before Sabrina rode down the aisle on a horse. They finished the afternoon off by celebrating their marriage with friends and family for a lunch time reception. Sabrina & Nicoli stayed side by side all reception long before sending off with bubbles.
The beginning of their love story:
Sabrina & Nico met on Tinder in June 2021. They would spend their weekends visiting each other because they lived an hour and a half apart. Nico worked various IT jobs while Sabrina was completing her degree in Computer Science at Purdue. After they both moved to Chicago once she graduated in December 2023, Nico proposed on the beach outside of their new home on New Year’s Eve.
Once upon a time during a Sunday’s serene atmosphere at the picturesque Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello, Indiana, there was the perfect backdrop for Sabrina & Nicoli’s enchanting Tolkien-themed wedding celebration. The couple’s love for the renowned author’s works was beautifully woven throughout the ceremony and reception.
The morning began with Sabrina & Nicoli preparing for their special day in private, surrounded by loved ones. As the ceremony commenced, Sabrina made a breathtaking entrance, riding in on horseback, while Nicoli awaited her at the arbor. The couple exchanged vows, accompanied by heartfelt readings from family inspired by Tolkien’s classics, adding a personal touch to the proceedings.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds joined their friends and family for an intimate lunchtime reception. Sabrina & Nicoli remained inseparable throughout the celebration, basking in the joy and love surrounding them. As the afternoon drew to a close, the couple made a romantic exit in the bright sunlight, surrounded by a sea of bubbles, marking the beginning of their new life together.
