Nick and Lilly have been friends throughout middle school, high school, and even college! It wasn’t until their senior year of high school when they started dating. They told us, “We have grown so much and are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our relationship!”

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. Some of our bundle and videography packages include an engagement video. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more, sit down and talk about their story, and learn about what brought them together. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in the form of photos and video.

Friends first

Lilly & Nick had mutual friends and even sat across from each other in Freshman English class, and they talked constantly. Lilly shared, “We began talking our senior year of high school and then started dating. We never thought we’d be where we are right now but we continued dating through our senior year and into college.”

They both went to Ball State for their freshman year and then both came back to IUSB because of their goals of getting married! They told us that the most important thing about their relationship is that they have experienced God’s grace through it all as He has transformed their relationship from them at the center to Christ at the center. They told us, “We have grown so much and are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our relationship!”

The proposal was a total surprise to Lilly too! Which (in our opinion) is the best part. Nick had planned a casual date on Valentine’s but secretly had planned a rooftop proposal during the sunset. Nick had Lilly’s cousin text him to meet for dessert, and Lilly did not want to go. But as they walked onto the roof Lilly thought she had walked in on another person’s proposal. But little did Lilly know that she walked into her proposal and all of her family waiting there to surprise her. Now they are planning their wedding and are so excited for their future!

Their wedding will be next summer at Morris Estate in Niles, Michigan, and it is going to be such a perfect celebration of the love these two share. They’re planning a Bridgerton-like wedding with classical vibes with a brunch service and tea. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
