Jenna & Garrett met us at the Indiana Dunes State Park bright and early one Saturday morning. We got there as soon as the park opened in order to avoid all of the beach goers and enjoy a beautiful sunrise.

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. Some of our bundle and videography packages include an engagement video. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more, sit down and talk about their story, and learn about what brought them together. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in the form of photos and video.

Met at Indiana University

When I asked Jenna & Garrett how they met they told us, “We met through mutual friends while at school at Indiana University.” They were both too shy to talk to each other at first but as soon as they did they were inseparable. Garrett shared how he had actually met her over FaceTime for the first time and after that moment he knew he wanted to make her his girlfriend. It took six months before he finally got the courage to ask her. They were both together with friends when she slipped away into her room alone. Garrett was nervous so he decided to send a text message, but Jenna told him to “get in here and ask me.”

They were dating for about two and a half years when Garrett planned a weekend getaway for them in a cabin along Lake Michigan in Saugatuck, Michigan. Jenna told us, “We had set up our phones on the beach to take pictures and while standing there posing for the pictures he got down on one knee and proposed! It was so beautiful.”

Their wedding will be next summer at Jeffersonville, Indiana, and it is going to be such a perfect celebration of the love these two share. They’re planning an industrial wedding with rustic vides and classic colors like Neutral Champagne. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
