This was our FIFTH YEAR taking photos of the Dagenais family. We have literally been able to watch their children grow through these photos and videos. From their daughter as a tiny little baby, to their kids now starting to attend school–time surely does fly by. Just like in years past, we were able to get together for a warm summer session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, Indiana.

We are so grateful to be able to see clients like the Dagenais Family year after year. This was our fourth session together, and we have literally been able to watch their children grow through these photos and video. Just like last year and the previous year and the year before that, we were able to get together for a warm summer session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, Indiana.

Rebecca (mom) told us how this location was so special to them when they originally booked this location 3 years ago. This is where they had gotten married. As part of their anniversary this year, she wanted to bring the kids to this specific location to tell them all about their wedding and show them around the Preserve. It was a gorgeous summer day and the kids loved running around, playing on the paths, and smelling all of the flowers.

One thing that we truly wish we could do for more of our families is capture their days with video. The Dagenais family booked with photos and videos! There’s just something special about having a short video of your family year after year. Families grow and change so fast. Videos can capture who you are at a certain point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed.
