Katie & Evan had a perfect wedding day at Promise Lane Barn in Peru, Indiana. Katie started her morning by getting ready with their closest friends and family in the onsite suite while Evan did the same in the barn nearby. They chose not to do a first look, and so the first time they saw each other was when Katie finally walked down the aisle to meet Evan at the end. Katie & Evan continued to celebrated their marriage at their reception by eating good food, cutting a cake, and having a loving first dance together.

Their proposal story:

From the moment Evan laid eyes on Katie during a school meeting (where they both worked), he knew he was going to fall in love with her. Katie & Evan have the most adorable meet cute. They first met during a special education conference for a student. Evan told us during their engagement session that when he walked into the room he instantly got heart eyes. He sat next to her on purpose, and then they were set up a few weeks later by a mutual friend. After their first introduction during a work meeting at school Evan got right to work ensuring that he could figure out a way to ask Katie on a date. Their friends quickly realized that they both were into each other, so with the help of some others they were able to get together and kindle this life long relationship.
