Ryan & Caleb met us at Fairfield Lakes Park for their engagement session one weekend not long ago on a gloomy day. It’s so fun to take a gloomy chilly day and turn it into a beautiful moment for photos showcasing their love.

Started out as friends

Ryan and Caleb told us when filling out their wedding questionnaire that they met through a mutual friend. Ryan wrote, “It is one of my best guy friends from high school and they were fraternity brothers in college.” They went on to tell us how they started out as friends for a few years and then they finally went on a date in 2021. And they’ve been together ever since!

The proposal was planned for about 2 months and all of their family and friends were in on it. Caleb did it in front of their friends near a very pretty pond. And reflecting on the moment Ryan says, “it was perfect.” There’s even something super special about it—the ring Caleb used is the diamond from Ryan’s grandma’s wedding ring that her mom has been saving just for her. How sweet!

A spring wedding at the Garment Factory in Franklin, Indiana is going to be so perfect when these two to get married. They’re planning an elegant theme with colors like dark green, black, gold, and cream. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that they are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
