Makayla & Christopher tied the knot at Tepicon Hall in the Tippecanoe River State Park at Winamac, Indiana. With a light drizzle nearly all day (a sign of good luck on your wedding day), these two made the most of every moment. They shared a special first look in a private field nearby before walking down the aisle inside Tepicon Hall to become husband and wife. During their very quick ceremony they exchanged rings, said “I do,” and sealed the deal with a kiss. Makayla & Christopher continued to celebrated their marriage at their reception at One Eyed Jack’s Celebration Station in downtown Winamac where they ate good food, cut a cake, and enjoyed the night as husband and wife.
Nature as their backdrop made for stunning photos
Makayla & Christopher are just so natural when it comes to taking photos. We found this out during their engagement session when it flowed easily as these two really were down for anything, tried all sorts of new poses, and just happily held hands all evening. The same was true for the time when it came to take wedding photos.
All of our wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session. Meaning, it’s included no matter what! We do this so that we can get to know you and your fiance even more. Also, having an engagement session prior to the big day makes your wedding day flow easier and gives you a preview of what to expect from us on your wedding day. Plus you get some stunning images that celebrate your time as an engaged couple.
Their wedding was set at the Tippecanoe River State Park in Winamac, Indiana. And having nature as their backdrop for all of the photos really made for some stunning moments. While it was drizzling most of the day, we were still able to get outside and take some photos in between moments of rain and while raining using some cute clear umbrellas.
A quick ceremony is all they wanted
Makayla & Christopher’s wedding ceremony may have been one of the fastest ceremonies that we’ve ever been a part of. But that’s exactly what they wanted. Prior to their wedding day, they had told their officiant to make it quick and simple. They didn’t want to say too many vows, they didn’t want to stand in front of their friends and family for long, because they simply wanted to get it done and become husband and wife.
While their ceremony wasn’t long, one of our favorite moments happened during that quick time–their son came down the aisle too. It was the most adorable moment as one of the groomsmen walked Makayla & Christopher’s son down the wedding aisle in his arms. Their son smiled at Christopher and stayed at the front of the ceremony site with the rest of the bridal party waiting for his mom, Makayla, to talk down the aisle.
