It was a memorable day on the at Promise Lane Park in Peru, Indiana, for this rustic orange and navy wedding outside by the corn field. The day began getting ready in the house and barn onsite which led to their special first look moment on the back barn stairs followed by a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. Alexa & Conner finally finishing off the night with good food, amazing speeches, and a sparkler send off to end their first evening together as husband and wife—this was Alexa & Conner’s special day.

Their parents set them up

When we first get together with all of our couples we like to talk about the story of how they met, the proposal, and what happened along the way. For Alexa & Conner the beginning of their love connection felt simple. Their parents had set them up and the rest felt like history. They ended up meeting at a brother’s going away party for the Air Force.

We didn’t learn much more about their story after that because Alexa & Conner have always been eager and on top of it when it comes to discussing their wedding day. They new from early on that they were going to have a unity sand ceremony, colors like navy, burnt orange, and blush, and an exciting first look with one another. Being able to discuss their wedding day leading up to the actual special moment was always a thrill with these two and we’re so glad that we were there along the way to capture the happiness.
