Lacey & James had an intimate and small wedding at France Park in Logansport, Indiana this past weekend. They started their days getting ready at a private AirBnB not far from Logansport then met us at the beach in France Park to start their photos. Once Lacey & James both arrived they shared in a breath taking first look on the cliffs of the quarry and then recited their personal vows to one another. After their ceremony at the waterfall, everyone head to the Tipton Masonic Lodge no. 33 in Logansport, Indiana where they were met with food, adorable woodland fairy decorations, and their closest friends and family. Lacey & James continued to celebrated their marriage by sharing a special first dance, cutting a cake, eating good food, and enjoying the night as husband and wife.

These two were high school sweeties, and Lacey described their love as one that happened so fast and just stuck. They quickly hit it off and everything grew from there. Lacey & James moved in together and went to college and did all of the “life things” side by side.
As their dating life continued, Lacey was diagnosed with infertility; however, their little miracle made an appearance a few short months later when they found out they were pregnant just three months after her diagnosis. Lacey says it was the “best surprise ever!” They got engaged and had a baby during the pandemic which we’re sure felt wild for them in the moment. So now they are finally deciding to plan their wedding!

When we talked about their wedding leading up to the big day Lacey would continually describe it as a fairy tale dream, and we felt like it was exactly that. With bits of lavendar, tons of beautiful florals, and cute gnome accents, the entire day felt like a woodland forest.
