We traveled to downtown Chicago on a rainy April weekend and met up with Patricia & Isaac for their engagement pictures. We saw the bean in Millennium Park, went to beautiful gardens, and had to take a stroll down the Lakefront Trail. Even though it was a bit chilly and sprinkled on us the entire session, these two were troupers and even looked adorable under their clear umbrella.

At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. Some of our bundle and videography packages include an engagement video. This is a great time for us to get to know our couples a bit more, sit down and talk about their story, and learn about what brought them together. It also allows each of our couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in the form of photos and video.

Chicago will always have a special place in their hearts

Patricia & Isaac started dating in 2010. She was a senior and he was a junior in high school. They had a mutual friend introduce them and started dating shortly after. Isaac recounts the story saying, “I asked my buddy about her… I was basically trying to find out what she was all about.” Throughout their relationship they loved Chicago as a date and hang out spot. They would go all the time when they were younger, and often still today. For one of their dates they decided to go to the city and visit Navy Pier. Patricia told us, “While we were there he told me he loved me and I was the one and carved our names in one of the picnic tables.” The carving said, ‘Isaac <3’s Patricia forever.”

Fast forward to ten years later–March 5th 2020. Isaac planned a date day for him and Patricia. The revisited that same spot where he had carved her name into the picnic table at Navy Pier. This time though, he kneeled down and pulled out a beautiful ring! Isaac asked Patricia to be his wife, and she said, “YES! I had only been waiting for forever.”

Patricia told us she’s just so excited to marry the love of her life! Patricia & Isaac will be getting married in August at The Wooded Knot in Tippecanoe, Indiana. They have chosen LVP Studios to document their special day with photo and video! We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their “I Do’s.”
