We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
A lucky sunny morning spent getting ready with their favorite people privately followed by an even more beautiful afternoon wedding at The Old Gray Barn in Frankfort, Indiana, and finishing off the evening at their reception with best friends and family celebrating their first night together as husband and wife—this was Riley & Justin’s special day.
They love their venue!
We first met Riley & Justin in person for their engagement session. They got together with us for their engagement photos at the Old Gray Barn (their future wedding venue). We’ve been to this venue before, and it’s always a pleasure to go back. With lovely fields surrounding a beautifully reworked barn and a trail that leads back to a wedding steeple in the woods, this location has plenty of options for us to taking stunning photos.
During all of our engagement sessions we chat about how the couple met. For Riley & Justin, it was a set up! Riley told us, “Justin and I met through my cousin. My cousin set us up on a surprise get together at top golf, and that’s where we first met!!! The proposal occurred in downtown Indy at the circle! After we went on a horse carriage ride with our families he took me up the steps to get a picture and dropped down on one knee!!! I cried like a baby lol, but it was such a special moment for us!!!”
Riley & Justin gorgeous fall wedding at The Old Gray Barn in Frankfort, Indiana where the weather cooperated beautifully, and as soon as we showed up Riley said, “thank goodness we got our good luck rain last night.” People say that rain on your wedding day is good luck, but with the rising trend of outdoor weddings most couples are hoping that that doesn’t actually happen. Rain represents many things in different cultures most of which include fertility, cleansing, unity, renewal, and tears. And Riley jokingly wanted that “good luck rain” but not on her actual wedding day.
After getting ready in their private on-site bridal suits, the were tractored back to the ceremony site (aka “the chapel”) in the woods behind the Barn. Their ceremony was sunny and gorgeous. Everyone was comfortably warm as they set on log benches to watch them say their “I do’s” and share in the special first kiss. As the sun began to set, they continued to celebrated their marriage by partying in the barn, eating good food, cutting their cake, and dancing the night away as husband and wife.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Robertson!
