Often people shy away from winter photos (unless there’s snow on the ground), but this year we have been lucky because the beginning of the season weather has been quite mild. We were able to get together with this big bunch, the Smith family, for family photos. They were such a fun, loving, and care free group which made this winter sunset session a breeze.
Even though the weather is changing—it’s getting colder, the sun is setting soon, and there are less sunny days, it is still a time to document your family moments. Photographers have a superpower—we can freeze time! Families grow and change so fast, but yearly photos capture changes in our lives. They capture who you are at this point in time. Too often we can forget about our past. We can forget how cute our children were when they were little and before you know it they are off to college or getting married and having children of their own. It is important to document their growth and how our families have changed. Photos can freeze these moments of growth and document each step of change. This is why it’s important to get family photos every year. (Read more in our blog post called “5 Reasons to get Family Photos Every Year.”
The Smiths have been trying to schedule photos with us for quite some time. Between winter cancelations and reschedules, it felt like a big breath of fresh air when we could finally come together to get the pictures that they wanted. While this all seemed like a long time coming, you could tell that they all just wanted to have a good time together, and that even though it was cold they were all there to document some amazing moments as a family. At LVP Studios we specialize in capturing your special moments in a way that really tells the true story of your family. It’s so important that you find a family photographer that you love to be around. We find that the perfect families are the ones that we can create lifelong relationships with! At LVP Studios, our goal is to serve you in a way that empowers you to continue making memories and documenting them with us.
