When I asked Riley & Justin how they had heard about us the told us about a few of our past LVP Couples and future LVP Couples that they knew. We love that we can continue to serve those family and friends that come to these weddings and see our work. Riley & Justin are getting married next October at the Old Gray Barn where we will be photographing and video recording the event, but for now, we came together for some epic engagement pictures at their venue.

An engagement session in the rain

These two were such troopers! This October had been very wet which isn’t great for everyone wanting beautiful fall photos. But Riley & Justin stuck it out and continued with their engagement session even with a slight chance of rain. And mother nature held off for us the majority of the time!! We even ended the engagement session with fun umbrella photos that were still totally worth it.

Riley & Justin got together with us for their engagement photos at the Old Gray Barn (their future wedding venue). We’ve been to this venue before, and it’s always a pleasure to go bath. With lovely fields surrounding a beautifully reworked barn and a trail that leads back to a wedding steeple in the woods, this location has plenty of options for us to taking stunning photos.

During all of our engagement sessions we chat about how the couple met. For Riley & Justin, it was a set up! Riley told us, “Justin and I met through my cousin. My cousin set us up on a surprise get together at top golf, and that’s where we first met!!! The proposal occurred in downtown Indy at  the circle! After we went on a horse carriage ride with our families he took me up the steps to get a picture and dropped down on one knee!!! I cried like a baby lol, but it was such a special moment for us!!!”

A fall wedding is the perfect time for these two to get married. They’ll be saying their “I Do’s” at the Old Gray Barn in Frankfort, Indiana. We love the idea of their rustic theme filled with colors like rust, burnt orange, sage, and taupe! They’re most excited about getting their families together to celebrate their love for one another, and we love that! We will be photographing and video recording their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their forever vows.
